Time Passes By...

Time passed by,I have been in TARC for about two months. In these two months,I have learned some new subjects and got to know with some new friends. This week is already the 10th week of our study week. The final exam is just around the corner. We are going to sit for 2coursework tests on this week. The two subjects are ME and BMS.I hope to score well in these two subjects. Besides that, my group is going to have a role play tomorrow. This role play is important for our coursework mark.Wish that everything will be fine.Sometimes I feel stressed up with my life.Isn't life could be wonderful? Hope to live in a better life. Good luck to all my friends.

Meet Your Meat

These are some of the Animal Cruelty from the video 'Meet Your Meat' :

1. Chickens
- Slammed into small crates and trucked to the slaughterhouse through all weather extreme.
- At the slaughterhouse, their legs are snapped into shackles, their throats are cut, and they are immersed in scalding hot water to remove their feathers.

2.Cattle
- Transported hundreds of miles in all weather extremes to the slaughterhouse.
- Those who survive on the way to slaughterhouse are shot in the head with a bolt gun, hung up by their legs, and taken onto the killing floor, where their throats are cut and they are skinned.

3.Pigs
- Piglets are taken away from their mothers when they are <1 month old; their tails and some of their teeth are cut off, and the males have their testicles ripped out of their scrotums (castration), all without any pain relief.
- When the time comes for slaughter, the smart and sensitive pigs are forced onto transport trucks that travel for many miles through all weather extremes.
- Many die of heat exhaustion in the summer and arrive frozen to the inside of the truck in the winter.

4.Turkeys
- Will be killed when they are only 5 or 6 months old, and during their short lives, they will be denied even the simplest pleasures, like running, building nests, and raising their young.
- Crammed into filthy sheds after their beaks and toes are burned off with a hot blade.
- When the time comes for slaughter, they are thrown into transport trucks, and when they arrive at the slaughterhouse, their throats are cut and their feathers burned off, often while they are still fully conscious.

5.Fish
- Farmed fish will spend their entire lives crammed together, constantly bumping against each other and the sides of their grossly overcrowded cage.
- Conditions on some farms are so horrendous that 40 percent of the fish may die before farmers can kill and package them for food.

After watching this video,I realise that there are many people who are inhumane. They are so cruel to animals by killing them with different type of methods.Hence, we should not follow the way they did as it is strongly discouraged. We should cut down the amount of meat we consume too.

Eason Chan in TARC

Eason was singing with his band.

Eason stand on the chair when the people at the back said they could not see him.

Last night I went to Eason Chan's mini concert with friends. He is a famous artist from Hong Kong. This was the first time I attend mini concert in the college and I had a gay moment during the night.I'm not a big fan of Eason but after last night,I have started loving his songs. He has a good vocal that could make us enjoy listening it.Eason Chan is a friendly artist too.He could make some jokes on the stage with no boundaries between artist and fans. The concert atmosphere was not cold with the presence of the MC,Wen Kang and the well-known DJ in myfm,Royce and "dao fu kor".They have the good sence of humour. While queueing up in front of the sport complex,I saw two team members of XJNH from UPG too. They are Wind and Zyang. The night in the concert was really memorable for me with the Eason Chan's fabulous voice.
Hope TARC will have a big concert next time.
